The View From Down Here, 2021

During my visit to Arches National Park, my brother and I absolutely loved trying to see as much as we could from as many angles as possible. In painting these images, I wanted to capture the grandeur of the environment in the vastness and the boldness of the rocks. The angle of this image challenged me a lot in my painting and my perspective planning but it was so worth it to capture just how majestic the place truly felt.
