St. Helens, 2020

I have yet to get into mountaineering, although more and more of my friends are doing it these days so who knows what’ll happen. A friend of mine shared photos from his summit of Mount St. Helens at sunrise and I was in awe of the amazing colors of the sun shining off the snow. I immediately knew that I needed to paint it, and when I showed him he immediately wanted the painting to commemorate the summit.
