Heather Lake, 2020 

This piece is the first full look at Heather Lake after the 2 mile hike in. On a hot day, after lots of bug bites on the way up, seeing the lake was a moment of pure joy, followed soon after by jumping in and soaking in the freezing alpine waters. This hike was the first hike that my partner and I did together, for my 24th birthday and the cool water was just the best.
