Hi! I’m Mac and I make art.
I tend to lean towards painting landscapes with acrylic paint in bold color palettes. I love experimenting with colors and finding unique ways to portray places and ideas. I love being outside, especially in the mountains or near the water, or both (alpine swims, anyone?)
I love landscapes because they can connect people in really cool ways. Whether because we share a sense of awe for really tall trees or because we’ve done some of the same hikes or similar road trips, I love seeing people connect with where I’ve been and what I’ve created as a result. 95% of the art I make that isn’t commissioned is based off photos I personally took and I think that’s really neat, I hope you like what you see here.
